For anyone who knew Dave, his positive ‘can-do’ attitude meant his time was always well spent if it was helping others. Let us take a leaf from Dave’s book, to see the bright side and do what we can to make a difference for others. The causes we have chosen are in support of Dorothy House Hospice and the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND). Dorothy House Hospice was of great support to Dave following his diagnosis. Here, he gathered with other individuals who were facing the harsh reality of life-limiting illness. The hospice continues to support and promote wellbeing through volunteer community support and engagement in activities. The MND Association provides a community of support and care, whilst funding important research to bring us a more detailed understanding of prevention and potential cures. Each person living with MND is assigned a volunteer and will have a support network for their journey and experience. This extends out to entire families who are affected by MND and the difficult times that may lie ahead. Anything you can donate, big or small, would be really appreciated.
