Dad, you have left a massive hole in my heart. You weren't just my stepfather, you were my dad and I was very proud to call you that. Whenever I needed help, you were always there and nothing was too much trouble. Life is so cruel, but again, you dealt with everything as you always did, with a quiet determination and humour.
